As part of our continued SPF-funded outreach, we launched five two-day Velocity Track Challenge workshops in partnership with Bridgend Council, aimed at 16-year-olds to encourage them to stay in school and explore engineering and digital fabrication careers. These sessions introduced students to real-world design and problem-solving, guiding them through the process of building and racing their own laser-cut and3D-printed cars under tight deadlines just like in an industry setting.
