Redesigning our new Prusa multi-material set up

Not only do the FabLab team apply their design and problem-solving skills to challenges faced by external clients, staff and students, but to making work practices within the Lab better too.  While reorganising the Lab’s layout to ensure social distancing around the kit, the team spotted the opportunity to make using the new Prusa multi-material 3D printer a little easier.  They designed a bespoke shelf with integrated rollers and fitted it above the printer which allows the filament flow into the printer more smoothly while it is running.
