See what the Museum had to say about the object;

There are many objects and stories in the museum, but also silences and absences. This Black History Month, Amgueddfa Cymru is launching a year-long strand of workshops and activities led by BAME-artists and young people, that will address historical imbalances and bring more diverse voices and representations into the museum. Through creative action, untold black histories, misrepresentation and lack of representation of BAME histories at the museum will be addressed.

To join the first Museum Review event and hear the story of chief Bokan re-told by young voices get yourself a free ticket for 'Y Gwir i Gyd yn yr Amgueddfa - The Whole Story Open Mic at the Museum' on the 27th of October.
