The Fablab has recently received a new, dual head lasercutter with 105W and 170W lasertubes,capable of cutting steel. The bed size of this new lasercutter is a significant increase over the 600x400 bed of the 60W machine we have, boasting a 1300x900 cutting bed size. It can also cut up to 20mm acrylic and 12mm plywood. We are very excited to get testing with this new machine and welcome anyone to come and take a look. We wont be offering inductions on this machine yet, but will be taking orders for projects suited to this large machine, so please feel free to get in touch with us about the machine!
