The term has got off to a busy start introducing students to its facilities. The team have been working with second year @maker_cardiff students to show them what the CNC machine can do to help bring their designs to life. They have also been working with a small group of the programme’s third years interested in laser scanning. The Lab invested in a new 3D scanner this summer which, like all its kit, is also accessible to the public and businesses.
